Permissions

Wanda possesses telekinetic and telepathic abilities, and as such, she is capable of reading minds and trapping people in visions. Wanda also has a tendency to read thoughts and dig into people's heads. I will not have Wanda do this, unless permission is granted, and it is plotted out properly during relevant threads.

Please use this post for plotting with Wanda's powers, and to give me a heads up on whether it's ok for her to use her powers on your character.

Prose - MidSyn

For a moment, she entertained the thought that this might be some kind of illusion. After all, if Wanda could inflict visions on others, then there was no reason to doubt that someone else might be able to do it. However, when she attempted to reverse the "spell", nothing happened. Red mist danced around her fingers, and her eyes glowed red, as she tried to break through the illusion.

But nothing happened.

"This can't be a dream," she murmured, stepping out into a brightly lit but empty hall. There was something eerie about it, but Wanda couldn't quite put her finger on it. There wasn't a soul in sight. It was so quiet that she could probably hear a pin drop, and the only thing she could hear was the sound of her own light breathing. When she attempted to use her powers to 'sense' the presence of others, she wound up empty handed. There was a tingling, crawling sensation in her head, like something was muting her powers and stopping her from sensing anything. It was far from pleasant, and had her cringing as she began walking slowly and carefully. If someone was nearby, they didn't want to be found.

"If someone is there... please. I mean you no harm," she said a little louder, looking over her shoulder. "I don't have time for games."

As a new member of the Avengers, she had a lot of work to do. Of course, she was still grieving as well. Pietro was the only family she had left. She cared for him more than she cared for anyone else. They had been through so much, from the pain of losing their family, right through to the traumatic experiments. Their desire for revenge. And Ultron...

Pietro had been taken from her so quickly. She'd gotten her revenge. It certainly didn't bring Pietro back but it felt good to avenge him. It felt right. It was the least she could do for her brother. But still, she could only think back to that day, and wish she was there to save him. Somehow. Needless to say, she wasn't in the mood for this. She stalked the hallways, looking completely calm on the outside, but feeling increasingly agitated. As she walked, she reflected on what had happened before she arrived... wherever she was. There were women. Masked women. A cup. Some talk about sins. What had all that been about?

And suddenly, movement caught her eye and she quickly turned, to see a woman dash around the corner. Without a second thought, Wanda started to jog after her.

"I only want to talk," she called out calmly but firmly, however the woman would not stop. Eyes suddenly glowing red, she attempted to focus her energies on the woman, hoping to control her mind and peek into it a little. That way, she might find out more about what was going on. Instead of answers, however, she just felt that strange crawling feeling in the back of her head again, and she received nothing but radio silence. It was like turning on a television and receiving static. There was definitely some sort of interference on her abilities. A filter of sorts. Wanda pressed her fingers to her forehead and shook her head gently. What on Earth was going on?
